From following expectations to finding her own path
What was keeping Izzy stuck?
Izzy believed she should apply to university to study nursing, even though something never quite felt right. She was anxious, exhausted and increasingly questioning her future, but couldn't understand why she lacked motivation when everyone around her seemed certain.
What did Izzy discover about herself?
Instead of asking "What course should you choose?" we explored a much more important question:
"Who are you, and what really matters to you?"
Together we uncovered Izzy's core values, strengths and the environments where she naturally came alive. She began to recognise that her uncertainty wasn't a lack of ambition; it was a sign that the path she was trying to follow didn't reflect who she really was.
As limiting beliefs from previous school experiences began to lose their hold, Izzy became curious rather than fearful about her future. We explored possibilities she had never previously considered and identified recurring themes that pointed towards work she would genuinely enjoy.
Once Izzy had clarity, writing her personal statement became surprisingly straightforward because it reflected who she really was rather than who she thought she should become.
What became possible because of that?
Instead of feeling trapped by other people's expectations, Izzy left with confidence in her own direction and excitement about what lay ahead.
She received multiple university offers and began looking forward to the future with genuine enthusiasm.
"Charlotte helped my daughter transform the future from something frightening into an exciting adventure."
