From perfectionism to self-belief
What was keeping Chloe stuck?
Chloe was academically successful, but behind the grades she was constantly questioning herself. She worried about what other people thought, placed enormous pressure on herself to succeed and relied heavily on praise and achievement to feel confident.
Although she appeared to be coping, she no longer felt like herself.
What did Chloe discover about herself?
Together we explored what was really driving Chloe's anxiety.
She began to recognise how perfectionism and people-pleasing had become patterns that were keeping her stuck. Rather than defining herself by grades or other people's opinions, Chloe discovered the values and strengths that already existed beneath her self-doubt.
As her understanding of herself grew, so did her confidence. She developed practical strategies for managing anxious thinking, stopped measuring herself against everyone else and began making decisions that reflected who she was rather than who she thought she needed to be.
What became possible because of that?
Chloe became noticeably calmer, happier and more confident.
Instead of seeking validation from everyone else, she learned to trust her own judgement and approached both school and her future with much greater confidence.
She went on to achieve straight Grade 9s in her GCSEs, but more importantly, she left coaching believing in herself.
"Charlotte helped me develop new ways of thinking that helped me overcome my struggles. After every session I felt more confident, and now I feel much happier, more relaxed and far more confident at school." - Chloe
"Within the first session Chloe was already putting what she had learned into practice. Over just four weeks, the transformation was remarkable. She now approaches the future with confidence and has practical tools she will use for years to come." - parent
